We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and we apply this to all customers, including those outside the EU.

What personal information do we store?

Your personal information is collected when you use our website, for example, when you place an order, create an account, subscribe for our newsletter or contact us. We store information like your name, email-address, IP address and your activity on our website. We can also store non-personal information like; your browser-type, operating system and technical information on how you access our website. If you purchase a product from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialize in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

Why do we store your personal information?

We store and process your personal information to present you the right information, to send emails, to improve our services and to protect and maintain your personal account. Sometimes we will use your personal information to send you interesting content or important information like changes to our terms and conditions or privacy statement.

How is your personal information used?

- process orders that you have submitted;
- to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us;
- seek your views or comments on the products we provide;
- send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about products, sales and other activities.

We process your data to carry out your order, to meet our legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in providing customer service and keeping our website secure, and, with your consent, for our newsletter and marketing cookies.

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.

How do we protect your personal information?

We only share your data with partners that need it to provide our services: Shopify (webshop platform), Shopify Payments, PayPal and Klarna (payments), WEAF Fulfilment Services (fulfilment), PostNL, GLS, DHL and their local delivery partners (shipping), Flowdesk (newsletter), and, only with your consent, Google (Analytics, Ads and Merchant Center), Meta, Pinterest and Triple Whale (analytics and advertising). We never sell your data. Some of these partners may process data outside the EU, for example in the United States. In those cases, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How can I view, change and delete my personal information and settings?

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us about our exciting products or news about our promotions, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes situated on the form on which we collect your information. In the checkout process, there is a box that allows you to sign up for our newsletter. If you wish to be included in our newsletter, you must tick this box giving us permission to use your information in our mailing list.

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent. You can change your marketing preferences at any time by contacting us by email to info@studio-lemstrom.com.
