Install with adhesive strip
To hang the toilet paper holder we advise the following steps, also shown in the 90 second video:
1. Make sure you have an even and smooth surface (like bathroom tiles) and make sure you clean well and dry before you start. When it's really shiny then the dirt and chalk is really gone.
2. Press the tape on the steel first (not first on the wall).
3. Make sure the product does not cross a joint (see video). It will hang for a while, but on the long term it could fall off. The reason is that between tiles there can be a very small difference as they are never 100% aligned. And as the backside of the product itself is straight, it's not possible to stick on multiple tiles if they are not aligned. If you still want to hang it with the sticker instead of screws, then make sure the sticker is just on 1 tile (adhesive strip should still be substantial to hold the weight).
4. Make sure the product hangs level. Once it sticks, you can not take it of and re-use the strip
5. Take off the film of the other side of the adhesive strips that are attached to the product
6. Carefully position the product where you want it and press the product against the wall
Install with screws
Screws are always the best for a strong fixation.
The video shows a unit that comes with screws & allen key. Not all products include those though.
1. Make sure you have a plug for the right type of wall (plaster wall requires a different plug than concrete).
2. Ensure the plug is not too long for the screw. Otherwise it doesn't fit tightly.
3. Make sure the drill holes are level (you could download a free app if you don't have a level at home)

Check the video first before assembling.
As the items are powder coated it can be that the nuts need to be screwed into the holes with a screwdriver first because there is a thin layer of paint in the holes.
You will need a cross head / philips screw driver. There is a mini wrench included.
Our products are made from stainless steel with a coloured powder coating.
The spindle is made from beech wood.

The strip works on smooth and clean surfaces. So most bathroom furniture is suitable and tiles work as well. It is important though to clean the surface, because there can be dirt, greasiness or chalk. So make sure you clean and dry.
It is not recommended to use tape on a plastered wall. In that case you can better use plugs and screws.
We always recommend using screws to be sure of good fixation. As we don't know what type of wall you install the product on, we cannot be held responsible in case the product does not stick and might possible be damaged. However; until now, examples that the adhesive strip did not work well, have been incidental.
No, that is not possible. Once it's hanging, it hangs very firm. When you want to take of the toiletpaperholder, then you needs some force to get it off the wall or furniture. The best is to turn and wiggle back and forth clockwise to get some movement. Once you have the toiletpaper holder of the wall, then it is quite easy to peel of the adhesive strip from both the wall and the product.
I you need a new adhesive strip you can find it at your local DIY store. Any double sided 3M VHB (Very High Bond) will be sufficient.
